Solar panels get pricier in Alberta thanks to first
Investing in solar energy for your home is set to become more expensive with Alberta's planned introduction of Canada's first recycling fee on solar panels. As CBC's Jo Horwood reports, the province plans to use the fees to build recycling infrastructure, but some industry leaders say the new charge will discourage investment in renewable energy.
