World's first large
A giant engine powered entirely by pure hydrogen has successfully generated electricity for Spain's national grid in what its manufacturer describes as a world first for large scale power generation. The technology is intended to show how hydrogen could one day be used in power plants supplying hundreds of megawatts of electricity to national grids without carbon emissions. But challenges of infrastructure remain before it can be rolled out on a large scale. (AP video by Mustakim Hasnath)
