'Targeted' Surrey, B.C., shooting leaves man in hospital: police
Surrey, B.C., police are investigating a late-night shooting that left a man in hospital.
In a media release, the Surrey Police Service said officers were called to a home near 88 Avenue and 127 Street in Whalley around 11:45 p.m. PT.
Officers arrived to find the suspect had fled and a victim with a gunshot wound. Police say he is expected to survive.
Police said they believe the attack was targeted but was not extortion related.
