Malloron Nair uses AI to help SMEs automate their operations

A trained economist and South African technology entrepreneur, Malloron Nair (pictured) has become one of the continent’s emerging figures in digital transformation consulting. He is co-founder and co-CEO of Disraptor, a company established in 2019 to help businesses of all sizes modernize their IT systems.

The company mainly works with businesses that already have a digital product but face challenges in scaling. It strengthens and secures their infrastructure, optimizes data management and facilitates their transition to the cloud to modernize their broader technology systems.

Artificial intelligence at the heart of growth

Artificial intelligence is at the core of Disraptor’s services. The company helps clients automate IT processes and integrate ready-to-use AI models, allowing them to avoid the cost and complexity of managing large-scale infrastructure in-house.

To address the specific needs of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Disraptor runs targeted programs. Its AI Founder Bootcamp helps first-time founders build an initial product using tools that require little or no advanced technical expertise. Meanwhile, the AI Readiness Accelerator supports established startups seeking to strengthen their technology capabilities and accelerate expansion.

Before entering entrepreneurship, Malloron Nair built his expertise in the financial sector. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2014. From 2014 to 2019, he worked at Investec Group, where he successively held positions as a financial operations consultant and quantitative analyst.
