Lamine Yamal is the top young player in world football.
Pretty soon, the rising superstar from Spain who plays for FC Barcelona will potentially be considered the best player on the planet.
And this week, he went to a Walmart.
Spain is preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the state of Georgia, and Yamal apparently needed to buy something.
Fans took video of Yamal in the Walmart in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, and it's going quite viral:

While there's no way to have 100% certainty that's Yamal, it almost certainly is.
And hey, you go where you need to go to get what you need.
The 18-year old Yamal is still a youngster, due to turn 19 in July, just days before the World Cup Final.
It's actually probably nice for him to not be totally mobbed when he goes out in public, which probably happens in Europe.
Fans were tuned in enough to know that Yamal was walking in their midst, but it's not the same kind of scene a global superstar might generate in Barcelona.
Spain will play its first World Cup game on Monday against a team making its tournament debut, Cabo Verde (Cape Verde).
Yamal will capture the world's attention even more than he already has in the early stages of his career.
But in the meantime, maybe he'll make another stop at a Walmart.
