EU Offers Ukrainian Businesses 10–15% Cashback on Compliance Technology
The support is routed through local lenders, and its reach extends beyond large firms, opening a potential financing route for businesses facing extra pressure.
Ukrainian companies can receive reimbursement of 10–15% of their investments in technologies needed to comply with EU legislation and standards. Gabriel Blanc, head of the Ukraine Reconstruction Task Force at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood, made the announcement at an event dedicated to the European integration of the transport sector.
As reported by the online media outlet Ukrinform.
If a company has already invested or plans to invest in technologies that help bring its operations into line with EU legislation, we offer cashback of 10–15% of the investment cost.
The support programmes operate through Ukrainian banks, which receive EU guarantees. This reduces risks for financial institutions and makes it easier for companies to access loans. The total portfolio of these programmes exceeds €6 billion.
Both large companies and small businesses are eligible for support. The programmes are also available to businesses in frontline regions and companies that have relocated their operations.
