Edmonton police seek suspect after Kingsway vape store robbery

Edmonton police are seeking a suspect wanted in connection with a May robbery at a Kingsway vape store.

At around 9 p.m on May 5, a man walked into a vape store in the area of Kingsway Avenue and 105 Street armed with a can of bear spray, police said in a Friday news release. The man began filling a bag with approximately $2,000 of vape products before fleeing on foot.

No store employees were injured during the robbery, police said.

Police are still searching for the suspect and released photos in hopes the public can help identify him.

He is described by police as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10 inches tall, with a medium build and weighing approximately 180-200 pounds, with a shaved bald head and brown facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and hat with black sunglasses, grey Lacoste-branded sweatpants and white loafers.

Anyone with more information is asked to call police at 780-423-4567. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
