Coroner's inquest into 2023 death of Boden Umpherville underway
Boden Umpherville was sent to hospital April 1, 2023 after Prince Albert Police Service officers used five stun guns on him a total of 15 times, sprayed him with pepper spray and hit him multiple times with a baton and their knees. The 40-year-old died in hospital three weeks later. An inquest into his death began Monday in Prince Albert.
