'Heroes,' 'Nashville' alum Hayden Panettiere dead at 36
Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Heroes and Nashville alum Hayden Panettiere has died at the age of 36.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her -- and to the millions who watched her onscreen," her father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement to ABC News Sunday.
People.com and TMZ also confirmed the sad news, although no cause of death has been publicly disclosed yet.
The actress' other credits include Remember the Titans, Scream 4 and Scream VI, as well as A Bug's Life, I Love You Beth Cooper, One Life to Live and Guiding Light.
She also penned a memoir called This Is Me: A Reckoning.
The actress leaves behind a daughter Kaya.
