Canadian Forces Snowbirds take to Alberta skies as plane retirements draw near
The Red Deer Airshow is hosting one of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds' final flights over Alberta. The planes, a symbol of Canadian pride and nationalism to many in attendance, will be retired at the end of the 2026 flying season. The federal government plans to procure new planes by the early 2030s. Gates Guarin has the story.
