Youth struck by vehicle in North End collision
A Winnipeg youth is now in stable condition after they were hit by a vehicle in the city's North End area on Friday night.
The youth — a pedestrian — was hit near Salter Street and Burrows Avenue around 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Winnipeg police said in a statement to CBC News on Saturday.
They were taken to hospital in unstable condition, which was later upgraded to stable.
Police said the man who was driving the vehicle stayed at the scene and co-operated with police.
Officials with the traffic unit are investigating the incident.
