‘You can taste the smoke’: New Yorkers on air quality as fires burn across Canada
There are more than 800 wildfires burning across Canada, and air quality alerts have extended into multiple US states.
The BBC's Nada Tawfik spoke to people in New York City about the air quality which was declared "unhealthy" on Thursday.
There are concerns the smoke will affect Sunday's World Cup final which is due to take place in New York New Jersey stadium.
