World-class field confirmed for the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations
The hundredth edition of the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations, from 12 to 17 October, is set for Grândola, Portugal, with over five-hundred competitors from thirty nations competing.
Renowned as the longest-running off-road event on the FIM calendar, this year’s 6DAYS® in Portugal marks a special centenary edition of the race. One of historical importance, it has resulted in the world’s best professional and amateur riders gathering to compete.
From the top riders in the FIM EnduroGP World Championship to the stars of off-road from all corners of the world, the battle for honours across all categories will be fierce.
Headlining the entry list, Spain’s Josep García (KTM) starts as the rider to beat. García is in the form of his life, with many regarding him as the fastest man in enduro. With a record-breaking five consecutive outright individual 6DAYS® victories to his name, the Spaniard will look to make it six wins this year. As the reigning FIM EnduroGP World Champion and FIM Enduro1 World Champion, it will be hard to bet against him. However, his challengers are plenty.
Finishing the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship as vice-champion to García, Italy’s Andrea Verona (KTM) is focused on knocking García off the top step of the 6DAYS® podium in Portugal. Verona is also the FIM Enduro2 World Champion and goes to Grândola on top form.
France’s Zach Pichon (TM MOTO) is a rider who makes an eagerly awaited appearance in the 6DAYS®. Pichon previously competed in the event as a Junior World Trophy rider in 2022, but will make his debut on the World Trophy team this year. Pichon secured two EnduroGP victories in 2026, while battling Verona every step of the way for the Enduro2 title.
Great Britain’s Brad Freeman (Beta) is another rider many will be keen to watch. The ten-time FIM Enduro World Champion last contested the 6DAYS® in 2019 and will be determined to deliver a strong performance this year. Alongside Verona and Pichon, he is the only other competitor to beat García in an EnduroGP race this season.
Naturally, the 6DAYS® is bursting with top EnduroGP talent, which includes Italy’s Morgan Lesiardo (Triumph), Sweden’s Max Ahlin (Honda) and Albin Norrbin (Husqvarna), France’s Julien Roussaly (Sherco) and Leo Joyon (Triumph), Great Britain’s Nathan Watson (Beta), and Australia’s Kyron Bacon (Kawasaki) among others.
The Junior World Trophy category will be led by FIM Junior Enduro World Champion Alberto Elgari (TM MOTO). The Italian is joined by France’s Romain Dagna (KTM) and Thibault Giraudon (Fantic), Italy’s Kevin Cristino (Husqvarna), and Australia’s Will Dennett (Triumph), who are all capable of making a strong impact on the outright individual standings too.
Ready to challenge the EnduroGP regulars, the entry list is filled with top talent. The United States have put forward a strong line-up with Johnny Girroir (KTM), Grant Davis (KTM), and Dante Oliveira (KTM), who finished tenth, eleventh, and thirteenth overall, respectively, last year. They are joined by teammate Steward Baylor (Kawasaki), a six-time AMA National Enduro Champion. Australia’s Josh Strang (Beta) is a 6DAYS® veteran and will celebrate his tenth time competing for his country.
In the MOTOREX Women’s World Trophy team, the entry list is stacked with world-class riders. United States’ Brandy Richards (KTM) starts as the outright individual winner from 2025 and will be determined to add to her win tally. Her fellow countrywomen Korie Steede (Husqvarna) — runner-up in 2026— and two-time FIM Women’s Enduro World Champion Rachel Gutish (RIEJU) will challenge Richards for the top step of the podium.
Australia’s Danielle McDonald (Yamaha) was a standout performer in 2025 and will be pushing hard again this year. Canada’s Shelby Turner (Triumph), and Great Britain’s Rosie Rowett (RIEJU) and Nieve Holmes (Sherco) will feature strongly in the individual standings, along with France’s Justine Martel (Beta) and Mauricette Brisebard (Beta). New Zealand’s Rachel Archer (Yamaha), who finished as runner-up in 2024, makes a return for 2026.
