What’s coming to the former Xscape Theatre near Fulshear?

The former Xscape Theatre in Fulshear will be transformed into a nearly 70,000-square-foot entertainment destination featuring bowling, arcade games, laser tag, climbing attractions, a restaurant and a revamped movie theater under plans announced Thursday by EVO Entertainment.

The Austin-based company said it has acquired the property at 26616 FM 1093 and plans to begin construction soon. The venue is expected to open in summer 2027.

The project will add roughly 35,000 square feet of new entertainment space to the existing theater, bringing attractions including bowling lanes, more than 100 arcade games, laser tag, climbing walls, bumper cars, gravity ropes and private event spaces.
A full-service restaurant and bar also are planned as part of the redevelopment.
Company officials said the existing cinema will undergo extensive renovations, including two premium-format EVX auditoriums equipped with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology.

"This property has long served as a gathering place for local residents, and we are excited to expand upon that legacy while reimagining it for the next generation."
