Victoria police looking for man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

The Victoria Police Department is asking for information related to the whereabouts of Brett Harris, who is at large and wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for arrest.

On the eve of Sunday, Sept. 13, Harris, 49, left a halfway house in Victoria without authorization. He is serving a three-year-eight-month sentence for possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, three fail to complys, taking a vehicle without consent and operation while prohibited.

He’s described as 5’11”, 195 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He’s heavily tattooed, including on his neck, left cheek, and a sleeve of a panther on his left arm.

Anyone who sees Harris is asked to call 911 and to not approach him.
