Trump attends dignified transfer of four US service members killed in the Middle East

President Donald Trump honoured four US service members killed in the Middle East during the war with Iran. The dignified transfer ceremony was held at Dover Air Force base in Delaware. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth also attended.

Three of the service members were killed when an Iranian missile hit their sleeping quarters at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. They were First Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan, 25; Sergeant Angel S. Rampersad, 28; and Private Isabella Gonzales, 19.

The fourth service member, Sergeant Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, died in a separate incident in Erbil, Iraq, during the controlled detonation of an Iranian drone.

The Pentagon said that 100 US service members have been injured since July 7, and 96% have returned to duty.
