Today’s House Delivers Furniture to Early
Five Early-Stage Startups Chosen for Support Office Furniture Deliveries Begin in July
Bucketplace, the company behind “Today’s House,” has launched a program to provide office furniture support for early-stage startups. The initiative aims to foster a culture where more established startups help the next generation of founders grow. This support program was carried out in collaboration with the Korea Startup Forum and the Asan Nanum Foundation, following a proposal from Bucketplace.
According to the Korea Startup Forum on July 10, five startups have been selected to receive support as part of the “Startup Pay It Forward Ecosystem Creation Campaign,” and furniture deliveries from Today’s House have recently begun. The selected startups are Metel, Mbus, The Jaran, Meet Freude, and Gosma Bioscience. The recipients span a variety of industries, from software development to smart farming, eco-friendly material development, and biotechnology.
Today’s House recognized that early-stage startups with fewer than 10 employees often feel burdened by the high costs of setting up a workspace. To address this, they decided to provide practical support by supplying office furniture, thus alleviating some of the financial pressure of establishing workspaces for these startups. The chosen companies applied for the furniture they needed based on their specific situations, and Today’s House selected customized pieces for them. Delivery and installation are scheduled to be completed within July 2026. The main objective of this program is to allow startup teams to focus more on critical tasks such as product development and business growth, rather than on setting up office space.
This initiative is also part of an annual campaign marking the 10th anniversary of the Korea Startup Forum. The campaign’s name, “Pay It Forward,” reflects the idea of spreading goodwill by passing on the help one has received to others, embodying the virtuous cycle at the heart of the startup ecosystem. The Korea Startup Forum plans to continue the “Pay It Forward” project to further expand the social value and culture of mutual growth in the startup ecosystem. A Today’s House representative stated, “After completing this round of support, we will consider additional assistance in the second half of the year based on feedback, and we will continue to explore various ways to grow together with the startup ecosystem.”
