Senate seeker El-Sayed jabs Trump over AI rebrand: 'Inferior Intelligence'

HUNT VALLEY, Md. (TNND) — Abdul El-Sayed, the Senate seeker with a knack for progressive put-downs, jabbed President Donald Trump Saturday over his AI rebrand.

Trump suggested in a social media post earlier in the day that artificial intelligence be called "superior," "supreme" or "extreme" intelligence instead. The Michigan Democrat, who's competing against Trump's endorsed candidate, issued a sharp reply: "As generated by Inferior Intelligence."

The two have clashed more often as El-Sayed's stock rises, partially as a result of his headline-generating hits. The candidate said last month, after Trump contrasted his and his wife's whiteness with El-Sayed's familial background, captioning his post, "Two VERY DIFFERENT America's," El-Sayed used the president's words against him.

"Yeah, he's right. One in which your overlords are two people who don't like each other but joint in the interest of making billions of dollars off of you, or two people who genuinely love each other ... want to come together to build the kind of America where they can raise a family and know that that family is gonna have the good things," El-Sayed told CNN. "So yes, you got two different visions of America."
