‘Carousel’ in concert in Satellite Beach
Space Coast Symphony Orchestra presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical “Carousel” in concert at the Satellite High Performing Arts Center, 300 Scorpion Court, Satellite Beach, on Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m. Set in a seaside town in Maine, “Carousel” follows the love story of Billy Bigelow, a handsome but troubled carousel barker, and Julie Jordan, a young mill worker. A second concert will take place at the Emerson Center, 1590 27th Ave., Vero Beach, on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door, or free for guests ages 18 and younger. Don McLean concert at the King Center
“American Pie” singer and songwriter Don McLean brings his “Starry Starry Night Tour” to the King Center, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, on Saturday, March 21 at 8 p.m. McLean is a Grammy award honoree, a Songwriter Hall of Fame member, a BBC Lifetime Achievement award recipient and his smash hit “American Pie” resides in the Library of Congress National Recording Registry and was named by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) a top 5 song of the 20th Century. SOFA Wine and Food Festival in Indialantic
Djon's Village Market, 249 5th Ave., Indialantic, hosts the SOFA Wine and Food Festival from 2 to 5 p.m. March 22. The afternoon features mouthwatering bites from local chefs, a thoughtfully curated selection of fine wines and live entertainment by Hot Pink. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Indialantic. Hot Air Balloon Festival in Viera
Space Coast Daily Park, 5775 Stadium Parkway, Viera, will be filled with colorful hot air balloons on March 21 and 21. Shop craft and retail vendors, enjoy live music, games, rides, family-friendly activities, and take a tethered balloon ride for $35. Bring your own blankets, chairs and umbrellas. ‘Cruisin’ for Conservation’ fundraiser in Melbourne
The Sea Turtle Preservation Society (STPS) hosts a “Cruisin’ for Conservation” fundraiser event at the American Muscle Car Museum, 3500 Sarno Road, Melbourne, from 6 to 9 p.m. March 21. The evening will feature special guest speaker Peter Bandré, Founder of STPS, along with live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and a champagne bar. Green Gables, 1501 S.
