Keremeos celebrated Canada Day with beautiful weather, a free pool and, for this year, two cakes.

Celebrations kicked off with the annual pancake breakfast, done by donation for the Keremeos Rodeo Association, with over 250 plates served up.

There was a multicultural lunch and one of the two cakes was decorated with flags of local First Nations and the many different backgrounds that make up the mosaic of Canada.

The Keremeos Volunteer Fire Department had one of their engines on display, there was face painting, a photo booth and multiple vendors set up as well.
