Passengers rescued from stranded cable car in Russia
Sixteen people were left stranded above the Volga River after strong winds forced the suspension of a cable car linking the opposite banks of the river, Russian Emergency Ministry said. Rescuers evacuated the passengers by lowering them from the cabins on ropes. All 16 people, including two children, were rescued safely.
