On the occasion, members of the Odia diaspora showcased an array of the state’s iconic handwoven sarees.The event celebrated India’s diverse handloom traditions and the artisans who keep them alive. Women from the Odia community displayed a range of traditional weaves, including Sambalpuri, Khandua, Dolabedi, Berhampuri, Bichitrapuri, Kotpad, Pattachitra, Ashwini and Utkal Laxmi sarees, highlighting the state’s centuries-old weaving legacy.The event paid tribute to generations of weavers and artisans who have preserved Odisha’s handloom traditions.
