New fund invests $250,000 in Charleston small business center
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The Lowcountry Impact Fund has announced its first investment, a $250,000 commitment to The Harbor Entrepreneur Center in Charleston.
Leaders said the funding will help grow support for startups, small businesses and expanding companies throughout the region.
Unlike a traditional grant, the money is meant to be repaid and then rolled into future community projects.
