Montreal police investigating possible arson of vehicle in Dollard-des-Ormeaux
Police say no one was injured, vehicle was destroyed
Montreal police are investigating a possible arson, following a vehicle fire at a Dollard-des-Ormeaux residence Friday evening.
According to Montreal police spokesperson, Raphaël Bergeron, evidence found by police at the scene suggests the fire was the result of a criminal act.
Bergeron says police were called to a residence on Papillon Street, near Hyman Drive, where the vehicle was parked in a driveway, around 10 p.m. When police officers arrived, firefighters already had the blaze under control.
No one was injured in the fire, however the vehicle was completely destroyed, according to Bergeron.
The SPVM is currently investigating the case and no arrests have so far been made.
