The incident, reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), occurred just 14 nautical miles off Yemen's coast. Authorities have launched an investigation while urging ships in the area to remain on high alert. The attack has renewed concerns over maritime security along one of the world's most critical shipping routes.
