Kacey Musgraves cancels shows from Middle of Nowhere tour

Fans who bought tickets for the singer's August and September shows in Chicago, Boston and Brooklyn, received an email telling them that the show had been cancelled, and that tickets would be refunded, TMZ reports. The Chicago and Boston shows were originally added to the itinerary due to public demand. No explanation has been offered, but fans have speculated the axings were due to low ticket sales, AKA the so-called 'blue dot fever' that takes its name from the blue dots that represent available seats in a venue's seating chart.
