In Toronto, countries vow to rescue Ukraine kids
Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand says more than 50 countries and organizations have pledged to continue work on returning abducted children from Russia, along with civilians and prisoners of war. Advocates say those held in Russia and the occupied Ukrainian territories experience violence, and are returned to Ukraine amid frequent airstrikes. (Sept. 29, 2026)
