Fire crews tackle blaze at recycling site
Fire crews are tackling a blaze at a recycling facility and landfill site in Wraysbury.
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said 12 pumps were deployed at about 02:30 BST to Fowles Skip Hire on Hythe End Road, Wraysbury, Berkshire, which is near to Staines in Surrey.
The service has advised residents to keep their windows and doors shut due to the smoke. It added that Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, which provided 10 pumps, was leading the response.
Resident Don Gregory said the flames were "higher than the surrounding trees".
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
