Fatal crash Wednesday night east of Bancroft, police say
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one person was killed in a crash on Highway 28 near Denbigh on Wednesday afternoon.
OPP first posted about a crash between two passenger vehicles closing the highway between Highways 41 and 541 around 5:20 p.m.
Just before 3 a.m. Thursday, they said one person was pronounced dead at the scene and the roads had reopened.
Police did not share further details. CBC News has asked for more information.
