BiG BUS - A Journey Through Light & Culture
As part of the LISHA Deepavali Utsavam 2025, the Big Bus Tour will offer an unforgettable way to experience the vibrant lights and colours of Little India's Deepavali celebrations.
This specially curated evening tour, organised by LISHA and proudly supported by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), will take participants on a scenic ride through Singapore's glowing streets—beautifully decorated with 60,000 stunning lights shining in celebration of Deepavali.
The tour will begin from Delfi Orchard Bus Stop and end at Racecourse Road, allowing participants to soak in the sights, sounds, and festive spirit of Deepavali. Visitors will enjoy breathtaking views of the illuminated arches, colourful motifs, and sparkling decorations that bring Little India to life.
Each ride promises to be filled with laughter, excitement, and cultural storytelling, creating a magical festive experience for families, friends, and tourists.

Rangoli Kolam Workshop
As part of LISHA's Deepavali Utsavam 2025 celebrations, the Rangoli Kolam Workshop will bring together participants of all ages to experience the joy and artistry of this timeless Indian tradition.
The workshop is set to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community. Participants will learn the intricate techniques of Kolam and Rangoli, colourful floor art designs that symbolise prosperity and positivity during the Festival of Lights.

Launch of the Public Transport Deepavali Design 2025
The festive spirit of Deepavali 2025 will take to the roads and rails of Singapore with the Launch of the Public Transport Deepavali Design.
This initiative is proudly organised by the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (LISHA) and supported by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), SMRT, SBS Transit, and the Indian Heritage Centre.
The official launch will be graced by Senior Minister of State, Mr. Murali Pillai, who will unveil this year's beautifully themed Deepavali designs on public buses and trains, spreading the festive light across Singapore.

Traditional Flower Tying Workshop
As part of the vibrant Deepavali Utsavam 2025 celebrations, LISHA will organise a delightful Traditional Flower Tying Workshop, celebrating the timeless beauty and cultural essence of Indian artistry.

As part of the exciting LISHA Deepavali Utsavam 2025, participants will have the chance to take part in a fun-filled and thrilling Treasure Hunt designed to bring families, friends, and community members together in the heart of Little India.
The Treasure Hunt is not just about solving clues—it is about discovering the rich culture, history, and vibrant colours of the precinct.
Teams will race through the streets, exploring iconic landmarks, traditional shops, and festive installations, all while learning about the unique heritage that makes Little India so special during Deepavali.

Saree & Veshti Draping Workshop
The Saree & Veshti Draping Workshop, organised as part of the LISHA Deepavali celebrations, will be held on 27 September 2025 at the Dragon Playground Unit, Tekka Place (#1-27).
The workshop will take place in two convenient sessions:
- Session 1: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Session 2: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
The session aims to promote cultural appreciation by teaching both locals and tourists the art of draping traditional Indian attire.
Participants will engage closely with the trainers, learning step-by-step saree and veshti draping styles in a lively, interactive, and photo-friendly atmosphere.

Deepavali Festival Village 2025
The heart of Little India will completely come alive with lights, colours, and festive cheer as the Deepavali Festival Village 2025 opens its doors to the public.
Organised by LISHA, this vibrant village offers an unforgettable shopping and cultural experience for locals and tourists alike.
Stretching along Campbell Lane, the Festival Village will feature a dazzling array of stalls selling everything from traditional sweets, savouries, and festive wear to home décor, jewellery, and gift hampers.
The air will be filled with the aroma of Indian delicacies and the sound of lively music, perfectly capturing the essence of Deepavali.

Live Cooking Demonstration by Celebrity Chef Arifin
A spectacular Live Cooking Demo featuring renowned Celebrity Chef Arifin is scheduled to take place on 25 October 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at POLI @ Clive Street.
During this special session, Chef Arifin will showcase his exceptional culinary skill and speed by attempting to prepare 60 Briyanis in 60 Minutes—a remarkable feat aimed at securing a place in the Singapore Book of Records.

Attendees will get an exclusive, close-up view of professional cooking techniques, aromatic spice mixes, and the step-by-step preparation of traditional festive dishes.
Deepavali Gala Dinner 2025

The highly anticipated Deepavali Gala Dinner 2025 will be held on 18 November 2025 at the luxurious PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay.
This prestigious evening aims to bring together distinguished guests, community partners, and supporters for a memorable Deepavali celebration.
The event is scheduled to begin with a warm welcome and cocktail session at 5:15 PM, with guests being seated at 6:30 PM in the elegantly decorated Garden Ballroom.
The atmosphere will reflect the vibrant spirit of Deepavali through graceful lighting, festive décor, and live cultural elements designed to set the tone for an enriching night.
Adding great significance to the occasion, Guest of Honour Dr Janil Puthucheary will be in attendance to deliver an inspiring message on cultural heritage, community unity, and shared progress.
