Live Nation launches Christmas in July ticket sale across Australia and New Zealand
Live Nation has launched a five-day Christmas in July promotion offering discounted tickets, limited ticket releases and special offers across a broad range of concerts and live entertainment events in Australia and New Zealand.
Running from 12pm AEST today (Monday 27th July) until 11:59pm AEST on Friday 31st July, the campaign includes 30% discounts on selected shows, $50 ticket offers and access to additional ticket allocations for a range of upcoming national and international tours.
The promotion spans dozens of artists and events, with participating tours including 5 Seconds of Summer, Guns N' Roses, Charlie Puth, Chet Faker, BABYMONSTER, Westlife, Rise Against, Wolf Alice, Robyn, Joji, MAMAMOO, Jungle, The Amity Affliction and Emma Memma, alongside festival offerings such as Strummingbird Festival.
Advising that the sale is designed to encourage fans to secure tickets for upcoming live entertainment experiences during what is traditionally a quieter period of the year, Live Nation Australia and New Zealand Senior Vice President of Touring, Mark Vaughan stated "Christmas in July is a great opportunity for fans to lock in their next live experience, with offers spanning some of the biggest international tours and brilliant local artists.
"Whether it's an artist you've been waiting to see or a show you've just discovered, there's something across the sale for every kind of live entertainment fan."
The initiative comes as Australia's live entertainment sector continues to compete for consumer spending amid ongoing cost-of-living pressures. While demand for major international tours remains strong, promoters have increasingly introduced targeted promotions and flexible pricing strategies to stimulate ticket sales and broaden audience access.
The campaign also reflects the strength of Live Nation's touring pipeline across Australasia, with major arena, stadium and outdoor performances scheduled throughout the remainder of 2026. Recent tour announcements have included 5 Seconds of Summer's Everyone's A Star World Tour, Rise Against's Australian return and Queens of the Stone Age's December Australasian dates, highlighting the continued momentum in the region's live music market.
For venues and promoters, mid-year sales campaigns have become an increasingly important tool for driving advance ticket sales, improving attendance forecasts and supporting programming across a diverse mix of international acts, Australian artists and family entertainment.
Live Nation's Christmas in July sale is available through its Australian and New Zealand ticketing platforms until 31st July.
