Death of 24-year-old man marks Saskatoon's 8th homicide of the year
Victim died from his injuries in the hospital, police say
The death of a 24-year-old man on Thursday evening marks Saskatoon's eighth homicide of the year, Saskatoon police say.
Officers responded to a report of an injured person lying outside in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood, in the 200 block of Avenue V South, at 6:45 p.m. CST.
The man was taken to hospital and died of his injuries, the Saskatoon Police Service said in a news release.
Police are investigating and said that an autopsy is scheduled to take place on Aug. 4.
