Carney visits Calgary Stampede as Alberta’s separatist threat looms
It's the final day of the Calgary Stampede and this year's event is tracking to be one of the most attended of all time. Among the crowds are a number of politicians trading their suits for Stetsons including the Prime Minister. Mark Carney's visit comes against the backdrop of Alberta's looming separatist threat.
