Canada Day event will take place at Castlegar’s Millennium Park

Don’t miss the free, family-friendly Canada Day celebration being held at Castlegar’s Millennium Park on July 1.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and kicks off with the singing of O Canada, followed by activities and entertainment for all ages.
• Free hot dogs and cupcakes while supplies last
• An interactive Kids Play Zone
• Canada Day tattoos, stickers, flags, and other fun goodies for kids
• A chalk art feature created by local artist Nichola Lytle
• Chalk available for kids to create their own sidewalk masterpieces.
Kootenay Charters will be providing a free shuttle service that will loop continually from the Castlegar Community Complex to the Station Museum and then to the park. The first shuttle will leave the Complex at 10:30 a.m. and the final shuttle will leave the park at 2:30 p.m.
