American Airlines flights resume after nationwide technology outage
American Airlines flights are resuming Tuesday evening after a technology issue briefly grounded flights nationwide, according to the airline.
In an X post, American Airlines said a technology issue impacted connectivity for some of its systems and that a temporary ground stop was put in place while its teams worked to resolve the issue.
“Systems are coming back online now and flights are departing again,” the post said.
The Federal Aviation Administration issued an advisory about the ground stop, according to ABC News.
