Aditya Thackeray is into politics of self
Prayagraj: Responding to Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Aaditya Thackeray’s remarks on the alleged donation theft at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, state cabinet minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ termed the statement `unfortunate’.Aaditya Thackeray had recently remarked that the BJP has now become the ‘Babar Janata Party”. Nandi said the people of Maharashtra rejected Aaditya Thackeray and his father, Uddhav Thackeray and while Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray ignited the flame of Hindutva, his descendants, Uddhav and Aaditya—for their self-interest—aligned themselves with those who question the Ram temple. The UP minister also said Aaditya and Uddhav were compelled to prove they are the true heirs of Balasaheb Thackeray’s legacy, but actually they are using it only to establish their credentials. Nandi said that in a bid to save their political standing, the Thackeray father and son are constantly making statements that have no connection to real issues.Stay updated with the latest Prayagraj news.
