'Yalla Startups' Debuts as Qatar's First Startup Radio Show
The weekly programme will spotlight founders, innovation and entrepreneurship across radio, podcasts and digital platforms.
A new weekly programme dedicated to startups, entrepreneurship and innovation has launched in Qatar, marking the country's first radio and multi-platform show focused exclusively on the startup ecosystem.
Yalla Startups is a collaboration between Startup Grind Doha and Olive Suno Radio Network (OSRN). The programme airs weekly on Radio Olive 106.3 FM and across OSRN's digital channels, including its VoiceCast podcast platform.
The initiative aims to connect founders with one of Qatar's largest consumer audiences while giving entrepreneurs, professionals and small business owners greater visibility into the country's growing startup landscape. Each episode will feature a different startup, highlighting its story, products, services and innovations.
The programme will primarily showcase business-to-consumer startups, alongside ventures developing solutions that help small and medium-sized enterprises improve productivity and competitiveness.
According to the organisers, Yalla Startups is intended to provide founders with greater visibility beyond traditional funding opportunities while strengthening links between startups and the wider community. The initiative also seeks to raise awareness of local innovation and support the continued growth of Qatar's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
