What's your Ultimate?
Canada's Ethan Katzberg is very much the current benchmark in men's hammer throwing globally. He came of age at 21 by winning the World Championships gold in Budapest in 2023, a title he successfully defended in Tokyo last year with an Olympic gold sandwiched in between the two. This week, the 2.01m (6ft 7in) tall thrower is the athlete being asked What's your Ultimate?

Ultimate career goal... Breaking the world record (currently at 86.74m).
Ultimate athlete... Usain Bolt.
Ultimate clash... Me against Bence Halász at any event in Budapest.
Ultimate memory... Breaking both the 80m and 81m barrier in the World Athletics Championships qualifying round in 2023.
Ultimate venue... The stadium for the World Championships in Budapest [now the Zsivotzky Gyula National Athletics Centre].
Ultimate night out/night in... A night in just reading.
Ultimate hidden talent... Juggling a soccer ball.
Ultimate day off... A day at the lake.
Ultimate holiday destination... Japan.
