Trump got appeasement, India suffered humiliation: Congress on H-1B visa
The Congress accused the Narendra Modi government of appeasing US President Donald Trump after the White House extended the USD 100,000 H-1B visa payment requirement for certain petitions by 12 months. The party said the move would affect Indian IT professionals, students and job opportunities. Trump has also ordered tighter scrutiny of H-1B applications.
