Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee roots for INDIA bloc meet

ET BureauNew Delhi: Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee is rooting for a meeting of INDIA bloc leaders here around June 8, some Opposition campers said. While the proposed agenda of the meeting is ostensibly to firm up the Opposition unity against the BJP, many in the Opposition camps feel Banerjee's real intention may be to rally support against the post-poll attacks on TMC functionaries and cadre in West Bengal, for which she has been blaming the BJP.
