Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah lifted themselves the way they never have, putting in performance of their lives to come within an inch of a final place at the BWF World Championships 2026.

While Huang will be in her second final, it will be a first for Feng.

“Today’s match was so difficult because our opponents played so well. We had to be really focussed. We are known for our defence, and today our defence was outstanding,” said Huang.

“Both played so well, especially Amri. Their level has been increasing this week. But we also were ready and performed well and we defended their attacks well,” said Feng.
