Three AI Startups Target Global Market with Oracle OCI… Reduced Costs and Improved Performance

As the generative AI market grows rapidly, the competitiveness of startups is expanding beyond the AI models themselves to the cloud infrastructure capable of operating them reliably. Since global service expansion requires managing not only high performance and stability but also infrastructure costs, the selection of an AI-specialized cloud platform is emerging as a decisive factor in business competitiveness. In particular, early-stage companies are accelerating the establishment of cloud environments that can secure both cost efficiency and scalability.

Three domestic AI startups, including VMIC, Prompt Town, and KAB Labs, announced on the 27th that they have adopted Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) through Oracle’s startup support program ‘Miracle’ and are working to advance their AI services and expand into the global market.

VMIC, a developer of aviation asset management solutions, adopted OCI to operate its AI-based platform, 'AirStream'. Following the cloud migration, the company reduced infrastructure costs by up to 50% and established an operational foundation to expand its services to global aviation financial markets, including Ireland, Singapore, and the Middle East.

Prompt Town operates 'Piix Studio,' an AI-based product development platform for manufacturers and designers. By building a cloud-native MLOps environment based on OCI Compute, Kubernetes Engine (OKE), and PostgreSQL, it reduced operating costs by approximately 40% compared to the existing system and shortened real-time image generation speeds to 0.5 seconds. It also strengthened the security levels required by enterprise customers.

KAB Labs, the provider of the trade automation platform 'T Flow,' has reduced the processing time for international trade documents from approximately one hour to within one minute by utilizing OCI Compute and OCI Document Understanding. It has also enhanced the efficiency of global trade automation by improving the processing performance of knowledge graph embeddings and AI review engines by up to five times.

The explanation is that all three companies focused on simultaneously securing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency to stably provide AI services to the global market.

These companies are participating in 'Miracle,' a startup support program jointly operated by Oracle, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship & Startups, and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. The program aims to provide cloud infrastructure, technical support, and networking to help domestic AI startups enter the global market.

Oracle believes that a stable cloud environment is becoming essential infrastructure for AI startups as they expand their businesses beyond the R&D phase. Accordingly, it is strengthening an ecosystem based on OCI to support the development, operation, and global expansion of AI services.

As AI services spread across industries, cloud infrastructure is evolving beyond a mere IT resource into a key factor determining corporate competitiveness. AI startups are expected to launch full-scale expansion into the global market, leveraging cloud environments that offer cost efficiency and scalability.
