Folsom City Lions Park: Yes! Features a rotating, hand-picked selection of local Sacramento region food trucks at every Friday night show.
EDH Community Park: A massive yes. You’ll find six or more trucks per event (like Ruffhaus Hot Dogs, Steve’s Pizza, and The Fry Boys), especially during the grand Summer Fest celebration in September.
Town Center & Palladio: Limited food trucks on-site, but you are surrounded by incredible restaurant takeout options just steps from the stage. Put your chairs down early, then grab a to-go order to eat on the lawn!
Tips for Attending Local Summer Concerts
Before you head out to enjoy the music, keep these quick tips in mind to ensure a perfect evening:
Check the Chair Rules: Places like Folsom Lions Park are incredibly laid-back—just bring your blankets and low-back chairs whenever you like. However, the El Dorado Hills Town Center requires you to join an online waitlist at noon on the day of the show to set up your chairs early. No blankets or tables are allowed there.
Leave the Glass at Home: If you are packing your own picnic basket for the community parks, remember that city ordinances strictly prohibit glass containers. Additionally, outside alcohol is restricted at the Zittel Amphitheater and Town Center.
Arrive Early for Space: Summer evenings in our area can draw huge crowds. Arrive at least 30 to 45 minutes before gates open or showtime to secure a comfortable spot for your family!
