The Kardashians Use Artificial Intelligence to Make a Weird Sketch

The OG Kardashian fans know the family is full of hilarious pranksters, and for the premiere episode of The Kardashians’ eighth season, they are pulling their biggest prank yet: replacing themselves with A.I. The episode opens with very obviously A.I. versions of the family in far-off places: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are drinking tea in Japan and Khloé Kardashian is on a safari in Kenya. It looks more like a weird A.I. short form video that you’d find on your TikTok FYP. They all reunite in their Calabasas kitchen, and everything seems to be going swimmingly until the A.I. starts glitching. Like clockwork, Khloé’s eye starts bulging out, Kylie Jenner grows a tail, and Kourtney’s face becomes a fingernail. They take sketch comedy very seriously.

That’s when the real family steps in — they still kind of look like A.I., but it might just be whatever they used to edit them into the clip. “Wait a minute, are we AI?” Kim Kardashian wonders. “Have we been AI this whole time?” Kourtney scoffs, “I think we would know if we were A.I., Kimberly.” A.I. Kris says the fake version of the family is easier to manage; no glam needed! But regardless, the real momager defends her dynasty. She claps back, “I don’t know who you think you’re talking to but this real family — real family — cannot be replaced.” At least this is better than using ChatGPT to try to pass the bar exam. Right? Right???
