The Black Keys to Open 2026 ‘Live & Intimate’ Concert Series at Spruce Meadows

Renowned American rock band The Black Keys will headline the return of Spruce Meadows’ Live & Intimate’ concert series, marking the venue’s continued expansion into a sports and entertainment destination.

The band will perform on June 5 and 6, 2026, marking the launch of the second annual ‘Live & Intimate’ series. The concerts will coincide with Spruce Meadows’ June and July show jumping tournaments and EPIC Weekends events, combining music and sport within the same season.

The shows are anticipated to draw significant demand, reflecting the venue’s continued success with its recent shift into hosting large-scale live entertainment.

According to Spruce Meadows Concerts Lead Jana Campbell, The Black Keys’ inclusion signals an ambitious start to the 2026 lineup. She said the Equi-Plex’s smaller capacity offers audiences a rare opportunity to see internationally recognized artists in a close setting. “They are unbelievable performers and will certainly kick off what will be an unforgettable 2026 concert series,” Campbell said.

The upcoming season builds on the strong reception of the inaugural ‘Live & Intimate’ events, which were praised for their acoustics, lighting, and accessibility. Campbell noted that the team’s goal for 2026 is to expand the series while maintaining its distinctive atmosphere and production quality.
