The $800,000 jobs fuelling Sydney’s hidden R-rated AI boom

Two of the world’s biggest AI adult entertainment businesses are being run out of Sydney.

For all the earnest talk about innovation, productivity and sovereign AI, two of the biggest AI companies with Australian ties are selling something rather more basic: sex.

Adult entertainment platforms OurDream and Candy AI each attract tens of millions of visits a month, have built substantial AI infrastructure around personalised pornography and companionship, and are tied in different ways to Sydney’s technology scene.

One is being built by a small Sydney team now calling itself Dreamerlabs, which says it is profitable and is advertising engineering packages worth as much as $800,000.

Dreamerlabs was until recently better known publicly as Coreflow. Capital Brief contacted Coreflow but did not receive a response ahead of publication.

The other is run by Alexis Soulopoulos, the Sydney-based former Mad Paws co-founder who now leads Malta-based EverAI, the company behind Candy AI, remotely.

Both sites attract roughly 45 million to 50 million visits a month each, sitting among the world’s largest dedicated AI porn and erotic-companion platforms, smaller only to broader roleplay giants such as JanitorAI and SpicyChat but larger than most direct rivals.
