Technopark to host roadshow to connect startups with Dubai investors

T’puram: A roadshow aimed at connecting Indian technology startups with investors, customers and business opportunities in Dubai will be held at Technopark on Monday as part of the ‘Destination Expand North Star’ initiative.Organised by Dubai-based business hub Zentral, the event will be held at Travancore Hall, Park Centre, Technopark Phase-I, at 3pm. The initiative seeks to help Indian technology founders explore global markets and access investment opportunities through Expand North Star, a startup and investor networking event held alongside GITEX Global 2026 in Dubai.The first phase of the programme will cover seven cities, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, Kanyakumari, Coimbatore, Chennai and Bengaluru, bringing together startups, incubators, accelerators and business leaders.As part of the initiative, 100 selected founders from across India will be taken to Dubai for a curated seven-day programme centred on Expand North Star and GITEX Global 2026. The programme will offer opportunities to connect with potential investors, customers, strategic partners and global technology companies.Zentral chief executive director Rafees Rahmathulla said the initiative would help founders explore Dubai’s business ecosystem and identify potential markets and partnerships.The programme is supported by Technopark, Infopark, Cyberpark and other regional startup and industry organisations.Stay updated with the latest Thiruvananthapuram news.
