Taiwan's FSC and NDC Team Up to Boost AI Startups: TiBOOST Extends Submission Deadline to Oct. 5, Overseas Entries Top Half
The final-round judging panel is as follows:
Note: Judges are listed in the order provided by the source.
The judging panel spans semiconductors, ICT, electronics technology, government investment, venture capital, private equity, AI startup incubation, and international markets. Judges will conduct comprehensive assessments across dimensions including actual enterprise needs, technology application value, business model feasibility, team execution capability, and international growth potential.
Organizers stated that TiBOOST evaluation focuses not only on whether the technology is innovative, but also on whether teams can grasp real industry needs, propose concrete application scenarios, and establish business models capable of supporting long-term development. Through the practical experience and professional perspectives of judges from diverse fields, the program aims to select outstanding teams that combine technological strength with market potential, helping them translate AI innovation into tangible industrial and commercial value.
Statistics disclosed by organizers show that more than 100 entries have been received to date, with half coming from overseas. Submissions span 19 countries, including three cross-border team entries. The highest numbers of overseas submissions came from Canada and South Korea. This reflects the visibility TiBOOST has established within the international AI startup community and underscores Taiwan's growing appeal as an Asia-Pacific AI innovation hub.
The fact that overseas teams account for more than half of all entries is noteworthy. It indicates that the program's internationalization strategy is yielding initial results and signals that final-round competition will carry a more global perspective. Organizers hope that participation by international teams will spur exchanges and collaboration between Taiwan-based startups and overseas teams, further elevating Taiwan's role in the global AI ecosystem.
Organizers cordially invite outstanding teams with AI core technologies, innovative applications, product services, or industry solutions to complete their applications in time, and to leverage TiBOOST to connect with capital markets, industry partners, investment institutions, and startup resources—jointly unlocking growth opportunities for AI innovation in Taiwan.
