Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology posts record August revenue
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Foxconn Technology said Saturday it posted the highest revenue for the month of August in company history, totaling NT$921.8 billion (US$29.09 billion).
The figure marked a decline of 2.61% from the record single-month revenue of NT$946.5 billion posted for July. However, the August total was 51.98% higher than revenue for the same month in 2025, the company said.
Rising global demand for AI products was the main driver for the positive figures, per Liberty Times. As ICT products approached the peak season, prospects for the third quarter looked better than predicted. Overall performance was expected to outperform market expectations, according to Foxconn.
During the first eight months of 2026, company revenue totaled NT$6.51 trillion, a record for the period. The figure marked an increase of 39.73% compared to January-August 2025.
Smart consumer electronics posted a slight decline in August compared to July as the category entered a transition period between old and new products, the company said. Cloud and networking products as well as components showed “significant growth” from July.
