Subsea technology firm expands Japan presence with new partner

A subsea technology company has taken a major step forward in its expansion across Asia.

Forum Energy Technologies (FET) has appointed Amariko Co., Ltd. as its local representative for the Dynacon product family in Japan.

Amariko, based in Yokohama, will deliver business development, technical, and administrative support to Dynacon customers throughout Japan.

Kevin Taylor, vice president of operations for subsea technologies at FET, said: "As we continue our ambitious strategy to grow our presence in the Asian market, maintaining an in-country partner in Japan to support high demand is crucial.

"Amariko has already started to provide local services, and we are confident that this partnership will yield great results."

Hiroaki Kawahara, representative director at Amariko, said: "As FET's Dynacon partner in Japan, we are committed to providing reliable sales, technical support, and after-sales service.

"By working closely with FET and leveraging our technical expertise and strong network within Japan's marine and research sectors, we will deliver the best solutions for our customers and contribute to the growth of FET's business in Japan."
